4 Ways to Incorporate Smart e-Services

When you have an online business, it’s a whole new world of commerce. Whether you are selling clothing or art supplies or offering tax services or website design, you need to be able to communicate with your clients and customers via the web. And this means more than just having a simple website with an about us page and a few photos.

When you have a great online platform that offers great services for your client base, all of this together is called e-services. If you are just starting out with online business, you may not be sure what e-services will work best for your company. There are four e-services that can work for almost all types of companies and that will definitely boost your positive reviews and revenues right away.

1. Contact Us Form

First, you want to make sure that your clients and customers are able to contact you as easily as possible. Just 10 or 15 years ago, if you wanted to contact a business, you had to know their phone number or mailing address. Today, you can use e-services to develop a contact us form that customers and clients can fill out when they have questions, concerns or comments.

2. Online Purchasing

Online purchasing is now the norm. Some people don’t even shop in stores anymore because they much prefer to shop online. If you offer any type of product or service that can be sold online, you should make this feature available on your website. The key here is to make the process easy as well. Some online purchasing software is buggy and requires odd information that customers will either not want to give or will not want to go to the trouble of giving.

3. Online Reservations

For hotel owners, inn owners and others who are renting accommodations, cars or anything else, reservations should be able to be made online. Again, just a few years ago, to make a reservation required making a call. Today, all of your customers and clients will much prefer to make their reservations online at their own convenience. This allows them to be able to make a reservation on their lunch hour at work or even while they’re in their pajamas in the middle of the night.

4. Online Tracking

Finally, when customers and clients make a purchase with your company, they want to be able to track that purchase if it is not immediately available. This goes for companies that sell actual products that will be sent in the mail, but it also goes for companies that may be offering transportation services or other things that aren’t actually tangible. Tracking services require that you give your customers and clients service numbers, but it doesn’t get much more complicated than that.
